Best GEO agencies in 2026

Six agencies built specifically around generative engine optimization, reviewed on published price, proof and platform scope — including us, bias disclosed.

Six agencies build their business specifically around generative engine optimization rather than treating it as one more line in an SEO menu. This list reviews all six against the same three checks — published price, proof with numbers, and how specifically they name the platforms they work in — and includes us, with the bias disclosed.

If you are earlier in the process than a shortlist, how to choose a GEO agency covers the criteria before the candidates, including the questions worth asking once you have one.

What actually makes an agency "a GEO agency"?

Not every agency selling AI-search work is built around it. Some have added a page about ChatGPT and Perplexity to a menu that still runs on link building and keyword rankings; others were built after 2023 with citation, not ranking, as the unit of success.

The six agencies below all lead with generative engine optimization, answer engine optimization or "AI visibility" as a named, dedicated offer — not a bullet point buried in a longer services list. That is a narrower bar than "does AI search work," and it excludes several well-known SEO firms that do plenty of it. If you want that comparison instead, the best AI SEO agencies reviews full-service firms that added this work on top of ranking work rather than agencies built around it from the start.

Being specialized is not automatically better. A specialist is more likely to speak the language precisely and less likely to average your account into a general SEO retainer. A generalist is more likely to have SEO, content and technical resources already in place if you need those too. Neither trade-off shows up in a homepage, which is exactly why the review below goes past the tagline.

How we evaluated these six

We read each agency's own GEO or AEO service page — not a directory listing, not a roundup written by a competing agency, and not a review site. Several of the search results for "best GEO agencies" are exactly that: agencies ranking themselves first on a list they wrote, which is the same conflict this post has and discloses below.

  1. Published price

Is there a number anywhere — a monthly plan, a project fee, a floor? Not a form, not "contact us for a custom quote." A number.

  2. Proof with numbers

Are results attached to a named client, or only to the company as a whole? A blended, all-client percentage is a different claim from one traceable before-and-after.

  3. Platform specificity

Does the page name ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI features by name, with a mechanism for each, or does it say "AI search" once and move on?

  4. What the claim actually measures

A citation count, a traffic-value figure and an organic-ranking increase are three different metrics. We noted which one each case study reports, because they get presented as interchangeable and are not.

agencies reviewed here that publish a starting price on their own site; the other four route every visitor to a proposal or a call Agency websites, checked 22 September 2026

The six GEO specialists, reviewed

Siege Media

The largest brand-name agency in this group [1]. Its homepage states plainly that it is "full-service GEO" and backs that with named clients including Adidas, Airbnb, PayPal, Zoom and Zendesk, plus specific figures: Zendesk's case study cites a 98% LLM visibility score and a $731,924 increase in traffic value; the agency's own total is more than $148 million in yearly client traffic value across its book.

No price is published anywhere on the site, which is consistent with an agency built to serve large, well-resourced brands rather than a buyer comparing three quotes on a spreadsheet. If your business can absorb an undisclosed enterprise retainer, this is one of the more substantiated names in the category. If you need a number before you book a call, it is not on the page.

Go Fish Digital

Positions itself as "a generative engine optimization (GEO) and full-service digital marketing agency," with a tagline built around the funnel: get cited in AI, get found in Google, get chosen by buyers [2]. Named clients include HP, Uber and Lowe's, and the case studies attach real percentages — a 74.8% increase in clicks for one client, a 500% year-over-year increase in qualified leads for another.

The catch is scope. GEO is one offer inside a menu that also covers paid search, social commerce and digital PR, which is not disqualifying but means the specialism you are buying may compete for attention with everything else on the account. No price is published; the path to one is a free audit and a proposal.

Optimist

The only agency here priced for a specific buyer: B2B SaaS companies [3]. Three published tiers — a one-time $7,500 roadmap, an advisory retainer from $3,000 a month, and full service from $4,000 a month — make this the easiest name on the list to actually budget against before a call. Named clients include Semrush, Superhuman and Kubera, with case metrics like a 43x increase in sign-ups for one account.

If your company is not B2B SaaS, weigh that fit carefully. A firm built around one buyer type usually means playbooks and case studies that translate well within that category and less predictably outside it.

AEO Engine

Publishes three tiers from $1,597 to $10,000 a month, more than fifty client logos, and named case studies with real percentages — a claimed 2,869% organic traffic increase for one client is on the page [4]. It is also the only agency in this group whose page advertises a specific outcome guarantee: a stated percentage of traffic growth within 90 days, or the agency works for free.

Read that clause slowly before you sign anything built the same way. No one can guarantee a specific search result, because no agency controls what an AI model decides to cite on a given day — Google says exactly this about ranking guarantees in its own guidance for buyers [7], and the logic carries over. A guarantee that specific is either priced into the contract in a way worth reading twice, or it is a marketing line that will not survive a real dispute.

Marcel Digital

A twenty-year-old search agency selling AEO as a four-phase engagement: discovery, implementation, launch and ongoing optimization [5]. The site shows real proof of general SEO work — a 181% organic traffic increase for one financial services client, named testimonials, Google Premier Partner status — but none of the four case studies on the page are attributed to the AEO service specifically.

That is not unusual for a firm that added this work onto an established practice, and it is worth asking directly in a first call: what has this specific service produced, separate from the SEO work that was already running.

GreenBanana SEO

Describes a six-pillar AEO method — entity mapping, content engineering, schema, citation building, platform-specific work and ongoing monitoring — in more structural detail than most of the other pages here [6]. The proof behind it is the thinnest in the group: one unnamed client anecdote citing a 33% increase in ChatGPT traffic over 90 days, and anonymous testimonial quotes with no company named.

A detailed method with unnamed proof is not evidence of a bad agency, but it is evidence you cannot check from the page alone. Ask for the client's name, with permission, before taking the method on trust.

RankPearl

We are new, which is the most important fact about us and belongs before anything else: there are no client citation results on our site because there are none we are allowed to publish yet. What we offer instead is a published price on the pricing page, platforms named specifically rather than "AI search" as a single bucket, and GEO as one of three named services rather than a line item — alongside generative engine optimization work we write about in detail rather than summarize in a tagline.

If proof of past citation results is your deciding factor, that argues for one of the six above. If a number you can plan against and a scope you can read in full matter more at this stage, that is the trade we are offering.

What this list can't tell you

None of the six above publish a case study that isolates an AI-citation number, with a method, the way a fully worked GEO result should. Traffic value, click increases and organic-ranking gains are all real metrics, but they measure ranking and traffic, which the GEO versus SEO comparison in this cluster explains is a related but distinct question from whether an AI model actually names and links you.

We also have not worked with any of these six, audited their client accounts or interviewed a former client. Everything above is what each agency publishes about itself, which is also what a buyer sees before the first call — and it is a narrower thing than a verified track record.

How to use this list before you call anyone

Shortlist two or three, then bring the same prompt list to each call: ask what they would track in month one, whether the number they would report is a citation count or a blended traffic figure, and whether the price on this page is what you would actually be quoted. If you already pay an SEO agency and are deciding whether to add this scope to that contract instead of hiring a new one, adding GEO to an SEO retainer walks through that decision directly.

Questions people also ask

  • Is a GEO agency the same thing as an SEO agency?

No, though the line is blurry. A GEO agency is built around getting a brand named and linked inside AI-generated answers; an SEO agency is built around ranking pages. Several names below sell both, and the review notes which one each site actually leads with.

  • Why isn't there a single winner in this list?

Because the six agencies here are not solving the same problem. One is priced and built for B2B SaaS, one is enterprise-scale with brand-name clients, two publish plans and prices, two do not. Which one fits depends on your budget and how specific your case needs to be.

  • Why does RankPearl appear on a list RankPearl wrote?

Leaving ourselves off would be its own kind of dishonesty. We are named in the methodology as an interested party, our price is printed, and the one criterion that goes against us — no client results yet — is stated plainly rather than hidden.

  • Does a published price mean an agency is more trustworthy?

It means one thing is easier to compare. Only two of the six agencies here publish a number at all, so a price is rare enough to be a real signal, but it says nothing about the quality of the work behind it.

  • Should I hire the agency with the biggest traffic numbers?

Ask what the number is measuring first. A blended, company-wide percentage across every client is a different claim from one named client's before-and-after, and the two get presented identically on most agency pages.
