What happens in the 30 minutes?

We share a screen and look at your site together. In thirty minutes we usually get through four things.

First, what you sell and who you sell it to, in your words. Second, where you show up today: the ranked list, the answers assistants give about your category, and what happens to the visitors you already have. Third, the two or three changes we would make first, with the reason each one is ahead of the others. Fourth, whether that work is worth paying anyone for, and roughly what it would cost with us.

There is no pitch deck and no discovery questionnaire. If we can tell early on that we are the wrong fit, we will say so.

What do you leave with?

A prioritised plan: the changes we would make first, in order, and why. It is yours whether or not you hire us. You can hand it to your own developer or to another agency, and we will not chase you for it.

What should you have ready?

Nothing is required. Three things make the half hour more useful, though.

  • The address of your site. This is the only one that really matters.
  • The one result you would call a win in six months. Leads, orders, a specific product line, or being named when someone asks an assistant for options in your category. It makes the conversation concrete much faster.
  • Who on your side can approve a change to the site. That decides more projects than budget does.

Access to your analytics or Search Console is welcome but not expected on a first call. We do not ask for logins to anything before there is a plan.

What happens afterwards?

If it is useful, we follow up in writing with what we saw and what we would do about it. If it makes sense to work together, that becomes a written plan with a scope and a price before anything is invoiced. Plans are flat monthly retainers, month to month, and the pricing page shows where each one starts.

If a call is more than you want right now, the contact page has our email address, and a message describing your site gets a real reply.
