Privacy notice
This notice explains what this website collects, why, who else touches it, and how to have it removed. It covers the marketing site and the booking calendar. It is written in plain language, and it describes what the site actually does today.
30 minutes. No pitch deck. You leave with a prioritised plan.
What this site collects
Analytics. We measure how many people visit which pages, using a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not set cookies and does not build a profile of you across other websites. It records the page, the referring site, the country, the device type and the browser. It does not record your name, your email address or your IP address in a form we can read.
Booking a call. Our booking page, and the booking buttons across the site,
load a scheduling calendar from Calendly inside a frame on this site, which is a
third party's page running inside ours. Opening /book, or reaching for a
booking button, tells Calendly your IP address, your browser and your time zone
before you have typed anything. When you book, Calendly collects your name, your
email address, the time you chose and anything you type into the form, and
passes those to us so we can hold the call. Its own privacy notice covers what
it keeps and for how long.
Your currency choice. The pricing page lets you switch between SAR and US
dollars. That choice is stored in your own browser under rp.currency.
It is never sent to us, and clearing your browser storage removes it.
Email. If you write to us, we keep the message and your reply address, the same way any business keeps its correspondence.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs, including IP addresses, to serve the site and to stop abuse. We do not use them for marketing.
What this site does not do
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or list resellers. There is no advertising pixel on these marketing pages, no cross-site tracking, and no pre-checked consent box anywhere on this site. We do not add you to a mailing list because you booked a call or wrote to us.
Who else processes it
We use a small number of services to run the site, and each of them only sees the part it needs:
- an analytics provider, for the page-view counts described above;
- Calendly, the scheduling provider behind the booking calendar;
- an email provider, to deliver our replies;
- a hosting provider and a database provider, which run the site and store client portal data.
These providers process the data on our instructions. We do not give any of them permission to use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept while they are useful and deleted when they are not. Correspondence is kept for as long as we have a reason to keep it. Analytics data is aggregated and holds nothing that identifies you. If you want your booking details or email address removed sooner, ask and we will remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@rankpearl.com and a person will answer. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs nothing.
You can also block the analytics script in your browser and read every page on this site without telling us anything at all.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we will delete it if we find that we have.
Changes to this notice
When the site changes, this page changes with it, and the date above the text is the last time it did. Material changes are worth a note in the notice itself, so we will add one here rather than quietly editing a sentence.
How to reach us
Email hello@rankpearl.com. The contact page has the other ways to get hold of us.
