Dental SEO agency for practices that want booked appointments
Most dental patients choose from the map, a handful of reviews and a treatment page, often on a phone, often the same day. We work on all three: your business profile and reviews, the pages that explain each treatment and its cost, and the booking path that turns a search into an appointment. Flat monthly plans, weekly reporting.

A dental practice does not need to be famous. It needs to be the obvious choice for the people within a short drive who have a toothache tonight, a child who needs a check-up, or a question about implants they have been putting off. Most of those decisions are made in minutes, on a phone, from a map, three or four reviews and one page.
That makes dental search unusually concrete. There is a small number of places a patient looks, and each of them can be improved. This page sets out how we do that, what it costs, and what we will not promise.
Who is this for?
Independent practices and small groups that want more of a specific kind of patient, not just more traffic. Typically that is one of three situations.
A practice with a good reputation locally and a weak online presence: few reviews, an old site, a business profile nobody has touched in years. The patients who already know you are fine; the ones searching for a dentist near them never meet you.
A practice that wants to grow a high-value treatment: implants, aligners, veneers, sedation dentistry. Here the question is less "dentist near me" and more "how much are implants" and "is it worth it", asked weeks before anyone books.
A group with several sites, where each location competes in its own neighbourhood and the website has one generic page for all of them.
If you need a new brand, a logo or a full rebuild, we are not the right first hire. We work on the site you have, and we will say if a rebuild is genuinely needed before any search work makes sense.
How do dental patients actually search?
In our research on dental results pages, the searches fall into four groups, and each lands on a different part of the page.
Urgent and local. "Emergency dentist", "dentist open now", "tooth pain dentist near me". These are dominated by the map results, which Google calls the local pack, and the decision is made on distance, opening hours, reviews and a phone number. A website matters mainly as the place the profile links to.
Routine and local. "Dentist near me", "family dentist", "dental check-up" plus a neighbourhood. Still map-led, but the practice website gets more attention because the patient is choosing somewhere to stay for years.
Treatment research. "How much do implants cost", "aligners vs braces", "veneers pros and cons". These are informational, often asked well before the patient books, and the results page mixes practice pages, health publishers and comparison content. This is where AI answers show up most, and where a good treatment page earns its keep.
Trust checks. The practice name plus "reviews", or the dentist's own name. Patients who were recommended to you search for you before they call, and what they find is your profile, your reviews and whatever the directories say.
What do AI answers do for dental searches?
For treatment questions, Google often shows an AI Overview that summarises cost factors, recovery and alternatives, citing a few pages. Assistants such as ChatGPT answer the same questions in more detail and, asked for a recommendation, name practices. In our observation, those recommendations lean heavily on business listings, review platforms and "best dentists in" lists rather than on practice websites themselves.
Two things follow. A treatment page that answers the question plainly, with the factors that change the price and who is and is not a candidate, has a real chance of being cited. And a practice whose name, address, phone number and opening hours disagree between its website, its profile and three directories gives an assistant good reason to leave it out.
What does SEO look like for a dental practice?
It starts where patients start: the Google Business Profile. We check the primary category, the services listed, opening hours including holidays, photos of the real practice and team, and whether duplicate or old listings exist. Then we build a steady review process: every patient is asked, every review gets a reply, and nothing is filtered or incentivised against the platforms' rules. That is the core of our local SEO work.
The website comes next, in this order.
The technical base. Mobile speed matters more here than almost anywhere, because the urgent searches happen on phones. We measure against the Core Web Vitals thresholds, fix indexing problems, and make sure every location and treatment page is reachable and marked up with the practice's details. That is technical SEO.
One page per important treatment. Not a paragraph with a stock photo, but a page that answers what the patient actually asks: what the treatment involves, how long it takes, what affects the cost, what the alternatives are, and who should not have it. A dentist on your team reviews each page and is named on it, which matters because dental content counts as health information and search engines hold it to a higher standard of expertise and trust.
One page per location, for groups. Each with its own team, parking, access, opening hours and the treatments offered there, rather than the same text with the suburb swapped.
Links and mentions come from where dentists are genuinely listed and discussed: professional bodies, local organisations you support, suppliers and local press. We do not buy links.
How does GEO work for a dental practice?
GEO for a practice is mostly about consistency and quotability.
Consistency means your practice facts match everywhere an assistant might look: the business profile, the main review platforms, health directories and the local listings that already rank for your area. We audit those, fix what we can directly, and give you a short list for the ones only you can change.
Quotability means your treatment pages open with a direct two or three sentence answer to the question in their heading, carry specific facts rather than marketing lines, and make the reviewing dentist's credentials visible.
Then we measure. We run a fixed set of patient questions in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI features every month, such as "best dentist for implants in" your area or "how much does Invisalign cost near" you, and record whether you are named, whether you are linked, and which sources were cited instead.
Where does CRO fit?
Often it is the fastest win. Dental sites lose patients in predictable places: a phone number that is not tappable, an online booking link buried in the menu, a form that asks for insurance details before a name, a treatment page with no next step. Each is cheap to fix and applies to every visit, including the ones you already pay for through ads.
Our CRO work starts with the booking path on a phone: how many taps from a treatment page to a confirmed appointment, and where people drop out. Where traffic is high enough, changes are tested properly with an A/B test; where it is not, obvious fixes ship and are watched.
How do we report?
Weekly, in a portal you can open any day, in plain language: what moved, what moved it, and what is next, with the finished work attached. The numbers we report for a practice are the ones that connect to patients:
- calls, direction requests and website clicks from the business profile;
- booking requests and calls from the website, tracked as key events in GA4;
- rankings and map positions for the treatments and areas in the plan;
- monthly, how often assistants name or cite the practice for the tracked patient questions.
We do not report vanity traffic, and weeks when nothing moved appear in the report too, with the reason.
What happens in the first 90 days?
Week 1: audit
Business profile, reviews and listings; a crawl of the site; mobile speed on real data; the booking path on a phone; and a first run of patient questions in the AI assistants.
Week 2: plan
A written plan with owners and dates, the treatment and location pages to build or fix, and the review process. You approve it before anything changes.
Weeks 3 to 6: profile and base
Profile cleanup, listing fixes, review requests running, speed and indexing fixes, and the booking path simplified.
Weeks 5 to 12: treatment pages
Treatment pages go live in weekly batches, each reviewed by your dentist, while outreach for mentions and listings starts.
Every week: report
What moved, what moved it and what is next, with the work attached.
Ninety days is usually enough to see the profile and reviews moving and the first treatment pages indexed and climbing. It is not usually enough to own the most competitive treatment terms in a large city, and we will say so up front.
What does it cost?
Our plans are flat monthly retainers that start at 1,750, 3,350 and 6,700 US dollars a month. A single practice fixing its base usually fits the first plan; a practice growing several treatments, or a group with multiple locations, usually needs the second or third. The pricing page shows what each includes. Plans run month to month.
What will we not promise?
A position, a number of new patients, or a date. Nobody controls the map results or what an assistant says, and an agency that guarantees either is telling you something about itself. We will also never write reviews, publish clinical claims your dentist has not approved, or put a patient's details anywhere near an analytics tool.
What do we need from you?
One person who can approve pages within a week, access to the site, analytics, Search Console and the business profile, and a dentist willing to review treatment pages. The clinical knowledge is yours; our job is to make it findable and easy to act on.
The terms on this page are defined in the glossary, and if you are comparing agencies, our guide on how to choose an SEO agency lists the questions worth asking any of them, including us.
أسئلة تتكرر علينا
How long does dental SEO take to work?
Business profile and review fixes can change map visibility within weeks. Treatment pages usually take three to six months to rank, longer in dense cities where many practices compete for the same streets. We will tell you which of your terms are realistic in the first quarter before you sign.
Do we need a page for every treatment?
For the treatments you want more of, yes. A page on implants, one on aligners, one on emergency appointments: each answers a different search and a different worry. Treatments you rarely do can share a page. We start with the ones that carry the most value for your practice.
Can you get our practice recommended by ChatGPT?
We can make it far more likely, and we measure it, but nobody controls what an assistant says. For local questions assistants lean on business listings, reviews and directory pages, so the work is making those accurate and consistent, and making your own pages easy to quote.
Will you write about treatments and prices?
Yes, with your clinical team signing off every page. We draft in plain language, a dentist on your side checks the clinical claims, and the page names that reviewer. Prices are shown as ranges or starting points you choose, never promises of an outcome.
What about reviews?
We set up a simple process to ask every patient for a review, help you reply to each one, and keep you inside the platforms' rules. We never write, buy or gate reviews. Genuine volume and replies over time are what help, and they are also what patients read.
Should we run Google Ads instead?
Ads buy visibility today and stop the day you stop paying. SEO builds visibility that keeps working, slowly. Many practices run both: ads for the high-value treatments while pages rank, then shift budget as organic visits grow. We report both side by side if you want us to.
Do you work with multi-location dental groups?
Yes. Each location needs its own profile, its own page with real detail about that site and its team, and reviews that belong to it. We plan the group as one engagement and report location by location.
